Stupid Pirates

Well it looks like the Reds offense finally woke up. Unfortunately the Pirates don't seem to be making this one easy. I could blame the pitching, but how original would that be? Especially when you're blaming Milton. There can't possibly be anyone who is really surprised here. So instead I blame the Pirates for not just accepting that they are awful and are going to finish the season in last place and need to just give up altogether so the Reds can at least win a few more before the season ends. Since the score is already 5 to 6 at the top of the 2nd it ought to be interesting to see how this one pans out. Too bad it's not on TV.
***Update*** It did not pan out so well. Not to worry though, we've got a series with the Cardinals coming up to snap the losing streak. Right?
