Bye-Bye Wily Mo

After two days of battling dial-up internet, I can finally bring you the news that Wily Mo Pena is no longer a Red. Bronson Arroyo, however, is. He looks to be quite the decent pitcher. Here's hoping he stays that way. Perhaps there was more to Dunn playing left field after all (speaking of which, this means he will once again be on the opposite side of the field from us in April). I think I'm going to miss Wily Mo's awesome hair. It's always different.

Good luck to Wily Mo in Boston.

I'm currently visiting Ohio for a few days with diiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaaaaallll up internet and have no patience for it. I understand completely.

On the plus side, I got to watch two Reds games on FSN rather than over the internet like usual.

Cheers!

Lucky you guys. I was shocked, SHOCKED I SAY, to arrive here in Oregon to discover that the Reds are NOWHERE to be found on over-the-air television. My new congressman heard about this.

And, naturally, the Reds won't be in town when I'm back in Ohio in early April. And my parents don't have cable. The desperation grows, you see.

I had to leave this here because the post below doesn't seem to want to allow any dissent. I see how you roll.

I had a lovely reply for all parties concerned here, but the marvelous internet ate it and now it is no more. I got away from dial-up and still the internet thwarts me. Ahhhh, such is life.

Anyway, basically what I said was "Obviously the internet hates you, too, as I have no idea why it wouldn't let you comment on the last one, but at least you got it in here" to Scott. And "My spring break was spent watching FSN Ohio-less satellite, so at least Daedalus got to see some glorious Reds action for us."

Hooray!

I'm watching back in DC online tonight. It isn't so bad, but the screen is blurry. Doc, you should get MLB.TV. Second greatest invention ever.

Yeah, I've had it. Although it was while I was still living in the area, meaning the cast was blacked out. I plan on signing up at some point during the season if the club's ability proves that it's worth the $14.95 a month.
